KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, described his visit to China in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries as very meaningful and successful on a personal level and leadership.
He will be returning home shortly , said the joint statement signed by the Prime Minister of China , Li Keqiang in the same room in which his father , Tun Abdul Razak Hussein and Zhou Enlai signed their agreement 40 years ago , very touching.
"In my meeting with the three main leaders of China, all expressed the importance of our diplomatic relations.
“In fact, we reiterate our commitment to improve relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership.
“Malaysia will establish a special committee to organize the implementation of this partnership, " he said in a recent post on his Twitter account @ NajibRazak just now.
The Prime Minister said he and his delegation were also affected by the treatment given the Chinese government during the visit.
“Xie xie!” he said in Mandarin that means “thank you".
"Overall, the visit was very successful. Sweetened further with victory in Teluk Intan! “He said referring to the victory of the National Front in the parliament Election, Teluk Intan yesterday.
