Civil servants, pensioners receive special assistance for ‘Hari Raya’

Kuala Lumpur: The Government will provide Special Financial Assistance of RM500 as preparation for Eid as gifts to public servants from Grade 1 to Grade 54.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said in a statement yesterday, special assistance would also enjoyed by 684,000 government pensioners, who will receive RM250 each in appreciation of their service.

Payment will be made on July 15 involving allocation of RM890 million. We hope this special assistance will ease the financial burden of civil servants and pensioners in their preparations of Eid Mubarak, he said.
