MAS in a lightning while its trip to Langkawi

ALOR SETAR: A Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is on the way to Langkawi from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) when the aircraft is struck by lightning on the engine, this afternoon.

The MAS in a statement emailed to confirm the incident, involving MH1348, no accidents and damage occurs.

A passenger claimed that the incident occurred at about 11.50am yesterday.

However, the plane lands safely and travels back to the KLIA airport after that.
