Avoid manipulation by brand manufacturers to confuse Muslim consumers

Kuala Lumpur: The use of a symbol that can influence or mislead consumers especially Muslims, should be prohibited from use in this country.

Johor Mufti, Datuk Tahrir Shamsuddin, said there was a brand name or symbol that manipulate by some manufacturers in order to attract Muslim consumers to buy their products.

As a result, consumers need to be careful because not all the product that uses the sign or symbol of Islam is pure and clean.
