Cabinet reshuffle: "I do not know" - Najib

Ashgabat (Turkmenistan): Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said he was not aware of any Cabinet reshuffle in the near future.

"I do not know," he said when asked by Malaysian journalists here, on a report in a daily newspaper on the possibility of a Cabinet reshuffle carried out on Friday.

He was speaking at a press conference before returning to Kuala Lumpur International Airport Ashgabat on Tuesday night, after the second official visit to Turkmenistan.

He was accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor in a two-day visit.

The Malay Mail, quoting sources, said Najib was considering a major reshuffle in the ranks of his administration not only to bring in the MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai and Gerakan president Datuk Mah Siew Keong only.

New Line is reportedly likely to be announced as early as this Friday and at the latest after the Eid which is expected to drop on July 28.
