1.8 MILLION MYKAD LOST

Kuala Lumpur: Six to seven of every 100 Malaysians reported losing MyKad per day!

According to statistics issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) last years, the number of lost MyKad increased each year, from 397.079 (2010), 413.068 (2011), 429.137 (2012) and 565.157 (2013 until October 30).

This means that more than 1.8 million MyKad reported missing in the 46-month period, or an average of 39.230 MyKad a month, the equivalent of 1,307 MyKad disappear within a day.

The question that arises is, it is true that the Mykad are loss and where are the over 1.8 million MyKad missing goes?
